Trust & Safety
Besidey is designed around trust, discretion, and personal boundaries. We recognize that meaningful connections — especially while traveling — require clarity, respect, and a sense of control.
Our approach to trust and safety is intentional, not performative. We focus on structure, context, and thoughtful access rather than volume or visibility.
Real People, Intentional Access
Besidey is not an open directory. There are no public profiles, no algorithmic discovery, and no anonymous browsing.
Access is rolled out city by city and extended in phases. This allows us to foster balanced participation and set clear expectations from the outset.
Clear Boundaries by Design
Besidey is built for adults who value autonomy. Participation is always voluntary, contextual, and based on mutual comfort.
There is no expectation of availability, obligation, or continued interaction. Connections are meant to be respectful, time-bound, and situational.
Privacy and Discretion
We do not operate as a social network. There are no public feeds, follower counts, or engagement mechanics.
Personal information is used only to support city-based rollout and access. We do not sell data or expose user details publicly.
A Thoughtful Rollout
Besidey is growing deliberately. Each city is approached as its own ecosystem, shaped by the people in it rather than by growth targets.
This measured approach allows us to maintain quality, set norms early, and adapt responsibly as we expand.
Trust is not enforced through rules alone — it is built through design, intent, and respect for individual boundaries.
